Why choose Donaldson safety filters?

Safetyfilters serve two functions: act as a backup main filter and protect the engine while the main filter is being serviced.

Serves as a backup filter in case the main filter is damaged or improperly installed.
Prevents debris from entering the clean side of the intake system when servicing the main filter.
Designed to allow rapid clogging if contaminants find their way past the main filter, alerting the operator to the problem.
Itis recommended that the safety filters be replaced every third time the main filter is changed, unless the main filter has failed.
